Gulf Shores Golf Club offers a spectacular golfing experience. The beautiful setting, challenging course, and elegant clubhouse create a golf atmosphere that both the golf novice and enthusiast will admire. Designed in the traditional plantation-style, The Clubhouse is complete with a dining room and golf Pro Shop. The Clubhouse is perfectly situated to give guests a spectacular view of the surrounding fairways. There are enhancements planned to the clubhouse that will make the overall experience even better.  Some improvements include: relocating the golf Pro Shop to the ground level, adding new locker rooms and expanding the dining room to faclitate large groups.

The Golf Club’s 18 championship holes were originally built in the 1960’s and was the first golf course in Gulf Shores. In November 2005, the course closed to undergo a complete renovation. Taking place under the guidance of Jay and Carter Morrish, the renovation lengthened the par 71 course by 300 yards and added numerous water features, bulkheads, enhanced fairways, doglegs and additional bunkers.

The goals to beautify and enhance the course, and to make play more challenging, have been achieved. There are now holes that are so dramatically changed that you cannot stand in the fairway and believe you are on the same course. The Morrish group delivered on their promise and the result is a spectacular product that no golf enthusiast will want to miss.
